The power of Hot Mulled Cider compels you…

This was 10% of my exam:

Calculate pH given [H+] = 9.25

Now, this might require some work, but the professor was kind enough to give the following formula on the front page of the test:

pH = -log[H+]

Now…. Come on… You are gonna give me 10 points for manipulating a logarithm?!?!? Well, I am not complaing, I am just baffled… :)

Now I am just-about all packed up for my trip home tomorrow. I have an ample supply of clothes, movies, and computer gear to keep me busy over break. :) I am back to using my old mouse so I could pack my new one away. All I have left to grab is my computer tomorrow, and I should be set.

Bizarroworld

Ok, so I am in my room, listening to random MP3’s, when all of the sudden I hear the immense sound of a travelling group of carolers, some of which were playing brass, playing Christmas music in the CSH elevator lounge. Now, this definately helped with elevate my Christmas spirit.

Bizarroworld comes in the details. What I left out is that it just so happens that the Random MP3 playing at the time was the themesong to the movie “The Omen“, which is entitled “Ave Satani“. :P

Ugh.

Wow… Remember how I said the ‘spirit’ wasn’t quite there yet? Well, it has arrived to an extent, and now I really don’t want to go to class tomorrow. I polished off the lab report that’s due earlier today, and I am all caught up, but I just don’t want to go to class. This god-damned 8am class is killing me… It is boring as hell, and it’s during my normal sleep cycle.

The Holiday Party rocked, much fun was had by all, food was good, and it was fun seeing a bunch of geeks dressed up. Pictures will be available soon.

James pulled a power-play at CSH’s Secret Santa, getting the infamous can of corn from my parents and giving it to me up the ass of a stuffed bear. Caught me completely off guard… Now I have to think up yet-another retaliation….. :P

Inching towards Christmas….

Ok, with the CSH Holiday Party (and Secret Santa) this evening, I am starting to feel the slightest twinges of Christmas Spirit. It probably won’t be full-force until I leave on Thursday, but I am feeling good.

This weekend was good… I went over to Trouble, Ben, and Chris’ apartment Friday to celebrate Trouble’s birthday. Contrary to My Roommate’s earlier post, I did not spend the night (but I arrived back here about an hour after his post). Saturday I hung out here most of the day, but ended up going to The Distillery to celebrate Ethan’s 21st birthday. Ironically, he decided he didn’t want to drink anything, which is A-OK in my book. I, however, took advantage of their 2-for-1 Margarita special… :)

I am just about to go out to procure my gift for Secret Santa, which I will describe in more detail after it has been deployed. :P I am kinda shaky on this one, because I am not super-good friends with the person who I was assigned…. We will see how it goes… :P

Apathy, Exhaustion, and Sarcasm… Typical Day.. :)

I think I have slowly progressed out of my bad mood, but I still don’t feel great. I think I am on Short Time on two levels now, looking forward to both Christmas and Graduation…. It may sound cheesy, but I am a gigantic fan of the Christmas season. It has gotten worse the past few years, probably because it is the one time of the year that I have a uninterrupted stay with my Friends and Family… And it looks like my Family is going to be waiting until I get home to decorate the tree (and maybe the house too). That is way-cool because I miss that whole deal…

It turns out that Soco has a Livejournal too… That bastard had better get up here soon. :P
