Catching up

I’ve been pretty lax in updating this thing recently…. Guess I have just been dealing with alot of stuff lately… Was in Northampton this weekend at Frances’ (as I mentioned in my last update)… Friday night we all went out to a way-cool playground by Frances’ house, probably the coolest playground I have ever seen… We monkeyed around there for a few hours and then retreated back to the apartment (and Karen went home). Saturday, Karen returned and the two of us went to Six Flags New England, which was tons of fun… The weather started out kinda crummy, so the park was really empty most of the day… We had lots of fun..

We met up with Frances and Matt for dinner, and the ladies made some Creme Brûlée which was awesome… Sunday we all went out to CT to visit the chocolate shop where Karen is going to begin working in a few weeks… She is apprenticing there and will be the pastry chef for a new restaurant they are opening next door… Pretty fucking cool, if you ask me… After binging on some candies we stopped at a park and walked around the woods enjoying the weather (it was 60+ on Sunday)…

There’s a rough-shot view of what’s been going on… I will try to be more regular from now on…

  1. Six Flags New England

Ah, the former Riverside Park… My dad used to take my family there on the special “Pratt and Whitney” days (ie, a discount for P&W employees and their families). My favourite ride was the viking ship that swung in an arc, though I don’t know if they still have that ride.

    1. Not sure if it is still a viking ship, but they have one of those rides, for sure…. I didn’t ride on it this time, but I think last time I went I was one it…

What’s funny is that rollercoasters don’t really make me sick, but rides like the viking ship give me nausea every time…
