Past few days

Yesterday Corinna and I took a trip to the Animal Shelter to walk some dogs, pet some cats, and enjoy the weather. I took some pictures of a few of the animals… The pics of the young animals were taken without flash to avoid scaring them, which is why they are often blurry (needing to expose longer, and such). I also took two “misc” photos while we were on our way to the shelter. First, a picture of the intersection of Tremont St. and Tremont St.. Second, the sun sets between the two Hancock Buildings.

After playing with the animals, we went to see 28 Days Later, which was kinda sneaky because we are going to see it with the SNFC again tomorrow. We were both really itching to see it and decided we couldn’t wait.. What an awesome film, I don’t want to give anything away, so just go see it and thank me later. It was simply amazing.

Today I installed a Ceiling Fan in Corinna’s apartment. The wiring was pretty ghetto, and I had to do some serious rigging to get it up there (as there was no proper junction box nor room for one), but it is now up and running. The wiring in that apartment is crazy ancient, the connections dipped in tar and wrapped in cloth tape…

    1. I had heard nothing but good things about it, but refused to watch it on my television (or worse, monitor). The R2 DVD has been out for a month or two, and I will have to admit that I was rather tempted, but I am glad that I fought the temptation… Movies, especially horror, are meant to be seen in a theater.

      1. Yeah, the DVD rip i have is pretty friggin mint however..

I’ve seen it 3x now, but we’re gonna have to wait like a whole year for the R1 dvd :/

  1. Yeah, I’m really looking forward to seeing 28 Days Later tomorrow night. Hopefully, it will redeem Max’s pick of Hulk last week.

Oh, and I note that Corinna’s wearning a BeOS t-shirt in the pictures. Nice. =)

I ended up seeing the Hulk by myself one morning early this week (I think it was Monday). My expectations were low, and while it wasn’t as bad as I had expected, it wasn’t good either…

How’s about that, eh? I would love to say that she’s an OS geek too, but she was just borrowing a shirt… :)

    1. I love dogs, but I lick choad at trying to identify breeds…. If I was paying attention I could have read the breed off of the tag on the kennel, but I forget what the tag said.
