I’m reading “Make Your Own Damn Movie” by Lloyd Kaufman (of Troma infamy). I read his first book, “All I Need to Know about Filmmaking I Learned from the Toxic Avenger” when Amy gave it to me for my Birthday. I ripped through that one and quickly purchased this book. Anyway, in it he writes:
[…]The cliché “time is money” is never more true than when you’re on a movie set.†[…]
†In fact, a lot of clichés suddenly seem fresh and original when you’re on a movie set, which is why so many movies suck shit.
