I have been in need of a new monitor for quite awhile now… I have had my current Samsung Syncmaster 6Ne since 1995 or so, and it’s functionality is decreasing… There is a dead pixel, it is having more trouble syncing, the max refresh rate is somewhere around 75Hz, and most importantly, the degauss button doesn’t work anymore!

I have been thinking about getting a Viewsonic VG800 18″ LCD. It is still pretty pricy, so I won’t be buying it tomorrow or anything, but I think I am going to start saving for it.
