The cable guy finally arrived, about 80 minutes past the endcap for their appointment, but whatever… The dude’s name was Fabio, and he did things pretty quickly given he needed to drop cable from the pole to the house… It doesn’t change the fact that I didn’t get to work until after 2pm… I guess I will be here pretty god damned late tonight….
Cable guys suck universally. I got RR installed here over three months ago. When the guy came out, he had to run a new cable from the box in the yard to the basement because the one in the ground was rotted out. They were supposed to send another guy out to bury the new cable.
There’s still a orange cable running across my back yard. They might bury it at some point. I’m not holding my breath.
