I got a new toy, the Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP Force Feedback Wheel. I have been trying to get someone to bestow a wheel to me for a few years now, but I finally decided to give it to myself. :) It rules, quite literally worth every penny… Games like Need for Speed are even greater with this addition…. I can’t wait to get home and play some more. :)
I called Verizon because when I activated my DSL, it only gave me the option for 768k downstream, 128k upstream. When I called in my order, I requested 1.5 meg downstream… They straightened that out, and they also are shipping me the webcam I was supposed to get when I did my ORIGINAL order (the one that got lost) on their website… Verizon has always been great when I have dealt with them on the phone, I really applaud their customer service skills (even if their sales/support stuff on the web is flaky).
i grew up using mini bikes, dirt bikes, and go carts to satiate my reckless driving tendencies. it just hasn’t been the same after the driving license; too many damn consequences. it used to be worst case scenario you’d have to pound a dented bar back into place, or come out with some neat new scars. now it’s all about insurance guys bending you over the hood of your own car and invading your exit only oriface after something as simple as a fender-bender.
