Today was pretty productive, especially for being the toughest day of the week for me… I talked to the folks, I faxed that stuff, I talked to Chris, I worked on AliveJournal, I went to my classes, and I watched Junkyard Wars. I am pretty tired, however, and I don’t want to go to long tonight given my twisted sleep schedule this weekend….
Junkyard Wards
… is the best show to come along in a long time (except for Burns’ Jazz film, of course ;) But we don’t have cable so I always have to find a friend with cable in order to watch it. Damn, I’m jealous. Anyway, that show seems like the perfect marriage of a good idea with good execution.

Yeah…. It is stealth-education… Try to convince a kid that the show is educational, and they will deny it tooth and nail…. But a few days later ask them what a trebuchet is and how it works…. :)
Last night’s was interesting, because it was “Back to the British” version of the show (TLC has been showing the first American Season for the past few weeks). What was interesting about the one last night was that it was the first british season, and it didn’t have the ultra-hot Kathy co-hosting (she was behind the camera still). The show looked rather ‘cheap’ as well…. But it was still just as fun. :P

Cheap can be fun…
Don’t think I’ve seen any of the really early ones. Would love to see the trebuchet episode. Remember Dominic’s trebuchet for sale on ebay?
