“The Surreal Life” is much more straight-up reality… I’m talking about the shows that retrospectively look at a year, period, era with wistful nostalgia and sarcasm.
I was just mentioning that as a “Best Week Ever” watcher, although it’s expected that VH1 should promote their own shows, it’s sometimes painful to ingest. I do enjoy the sarcasm in “Best Week Ever”, I just wish the self-promotion wasn’t so blatant.
With a hint of Self-Absorption. I mean, is “The Surreal Life” that much of a pop-culture hit outside of the world of VH1?
