The past few days have been very lazy for me… I have spent the most time working on the job hunt…
Thanks to my sister, I watched the premiere of The Sopranos at Casey’s (her boyfriend) house. The two episodes were way-cool tonight (especially due to the widescreen)…. the only cheeze factor was the lame CG they used to graft Livia’s head onto that body-double’s body. And it was pretty obvious that they were using canned lines from the prior two seasons… But that was short-lived, and given the bind they were in, they did a pretty good job of closing the Livia chapter. I am really looking forward to this season, it looks like it is going to be a good one. :) My sister and I are going to try and get HBO in the house before next Sunday, but I am pretty sure if all else fails that Casey would have me over again. :)
It is snowing pretty well here, and I am gonna shave and then finish a movie I started a little while ago now. Afterwards, a nice long slumber… :)
My sister is watching Center Stage, what a piece of shit.
I went to visit Mr. Hirlemann, my old High School Photo teacher, which was cool… I really don’t recognize much of anyone over at that school any longer. Even the principal retired. I then headed over to the Library to try and donate some old textbooks, etc. The lady didn’t want them, and she couldn’t recommend any place I could take them either. What a pain in the ass.
I just tried to purchase tickets for Monday’s Weezer concert in NYC but alas, it was sold out. Perhaps I can win tickets off K-Rock… I didn’t have anyone to go with, I figured I would just buy the tickets and someone would come along. :)
We then came back to my house to watch my copy of Time Bandits on DVD and afterwards I went to bed.
Today I went to the mall with Chuck, had some Chicken Teriaki, and came back and chilled for awhile. Tonight will probably (hopefully?) be a quiet night for me.
Going to head down to Dover in a little while to drop off some old clothes and books at the Salvation Army. I would normally take my clothes to an Amvets bin, but I don’t believe you can donate books at the bins, so I am just taking it all down to Dover.
Chuck is going to tag along; he has some pants to get rid of as well. We will find something to eat while we are out, and I know it will be good, because I am not in Rochester anymore.
I feel better today than I have in a long, long while…. I am getting very relaxed, and I had a great night’s sleep. Last night I had some pizza from The Grotto, and this afternoon Chuck and I went down to Ledgewood and stopped by my favorite pizza shop here (Enzo’s). Now me and me pappy are going to feast on some sandwiches from Frank’s Pizza… :)
Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure just came on Encore, and Dad and I started to watch it, but we decided to throw in the DVD of it instead to enjoy the widescreen and the 5.1 audio…..
My back hurts, but things are getting into shape slowly…. I think I might be done unfurling my shit for the night and assume a nice recumbent position on my bed while I relax letting my mind rot with some television…
Of course, we all know that this is simply a pipe dream and that I will not be able to relax until everything is in its place.
This is it, I guess… My parents are coming by in a few minutes and we are going to go wrap up a few things at Financial Aid and then go get some breakfast. After that we load up the car, say some final goodbyes, and hit the road this last time. Phew, this is kinda heavy…
