There is this guy visiting the Book Conversion people who looks exactly like that “Paul Bearer” guy that (used?) to be in the WWF (I haven’t really watched wrestling in a long time, so I am not sure if he is still around). Anyway, he is standing right across from my desk, and everytime I look up, it freaks me out. :)

I fixed a ton of bugs in alivejournal last night, including a segfault that I had been trying to track down since I was living in Rochester (but I haven’t really worked on it much since then, either.. :P). I also wrote a cool class that make dealing with the massive amount of POST name/value pairs that LJ uses much simpler.

I was going to do laundry today, but I am feeling lazy, and having fun hacking on ALJ, so I will probably just do it tomorrow…

You know, the past few weeks I have made two realizations… First being that I truly enjoy my job, and the second being that I am good at what I do. :)

We are all going to see Planet of the Apes down the street (which is also in the same building as Ximian, speaking of monkeys…) over lunch… I guess I will grab some snacks at the theater to tide me over or something…

I hate bugs that don’t like being reproduced….

I am in a really lazy mood today… I told peeps last sunday that I would be cooking today, but I think I might reneg. I am simply not really in the mood to do any extensive cooking today (especially if it involves experimentation)…

Yesterday’s meatloaf came out pretty well…. I had taken a recipe from Good Eats (a.k.a. the greatest cooking show) but I didn’t have all the ingredients handy so I improvised… All in all it was pretty tasty, but I wish I had some onions to toss into the mix..

I really need to fix AliveJournal… Unfortunately, I have no clue whatsoever what is wrong with it. :)

I have just been running many of the errands I have neglected for awhile, like decent amounts of grocery shopping, etc. today. In fact, I neglected groceries so much that I really need to go again tomorrow (I couldn’t carry it all back today. :P).

I am making up a meatloaf tonight, mutating a recipe I have never tried… Hopefully it won’t blow. :) I have convinced myself it is Sunday, which is a nice thing to convince yourself of on a Saturday… Every time you think to yourself “Work tomorrow…” you eventually realize how wrong you are, and how great that error is…. Not that work sucks, but the weekend is a sacred time that we all wish would last 7 days… :)

My meat thermometer just beeped, so I guess it is time for some loaf!
