Since July 21, 1989, many of you out there have been wondering, “When can I get ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic’s cult-hit movie “UHF” on DVD, a format that has yet to be invented?” Well, mark your calendars, folks, ‘cause MGM Home Video will be releasing it to an unsuspecting public on June 4, 2002! Al was very involved in the production of the DVD, which will include the following special features:

I am trying to get my homepage style replicated using CSS (getting rid of the crappy table formatting). I have the sidebar working, but formatting my LJ entry blocks seems to be beyond me… I keep re-reading the CSS spec and nothing I try works right… I doubt it is CSS’ problem, but it still pisses me off.. Not to mention that the times that I have gotten results even in the ballpark of what I am looking for, they look completely hosed in IE…
Going down to Copley to meet David Reid for lunch… He is in town for the weekend, and it is always nice to meet people from the BeOS scene…. David is responsible for the BeOS Apache port, among other things… Yet another person I can check off on my “actually met in person” list…. :)
I cut up my first loaf of bread this morning, I was up until 4am baking them… It was tasty, surprisingly, if not just a bit dense… The whole process was amazing, the yeast is amazing stuff… )
I am taking my first swing at bread-making tonight, so wish me luck… My first batch is currently rising for an hour, after which I will punch it down and start baking…. I am kinda excited, but I have heard horror stories about breadmaking, that you screw up your first few tries, so I am not holding my breath….
My power just went on/off in the apartment…. I wonder what happened… Well, there goes the 40 day uptime on my fileserver… I guess I would have to take it down when I move in a few days….. ReiserFS saves the day… =)
Frankie and Rory are coming over for Hamburgers and The Sopranos… They are marathonning this weekend, watching the entire second season… I have been watching some of them with them, preparing for next weeks start to the 3rd season reruns… Hopefully my cable tv in the new place will be straightened out in time to watch it.. :)
This afternoon, I packed up my CDs and DVDs as well as their racks. Another three boxes down, and I mostly have my computer shit and the kitchen to deal with still… Hopefully I can finish up most of the stuff by tomorrow so I can take the rest of my time easy… I have decided to stretch my laundry out so I can move mostly dirty laundry… That way I can save a few bucks by using the laundry at the new place as opposed to going to the laundromat… I mean, it’s only like 6 bucks, but that’s 6 bucks I can spend on fun stuff… :)
I just want this move to be over, than I will feel like relaxing a bit….
