I needed that…. =) Woke up an hour or two ago, ate a fluffernutter for lunch, watched an episode of Connections, and now I am going to get to work… I needed a good recharging sleep after this week of hell… =)
Hope you enjoyed yesterday’s poll…. My “cousin” David mailed me that picture the other day, and I just thought there were so many amusing things in the picture…. Hopefully my sisters aren’t too offended… =)
Gib’s barbeque was fun…. Matt and I represented our apartment, and Pete Vetere and his Fiancee (whose name I already forget since I am awful with names… =), Steve Bower, Gib, Jen, and later on Doc and Monica came by… It was good having an evening of not-work for awhile and seeing some faces that don’t live in my apartment or work with me.. =)
I am sooooo tired…. The smart person would go home and sleep, but Gib is throwing a barbeque tonight, and I haven’t been very social in the past few weeks…
I promised that I would have my project done by monday, so this will be a busy week… =)
We are going to begin doing installations of our product for customers, so Pedro ordered new business cards for us (my old cards had the old address).. Apparently we are going to rotate who gets to face the customers… =)

I have been in need of a new monitor for quite awhile now… I have had my current Samsung Syncmaster 6Ne since 1995 or so, and it’s functionality is decreasing… There is a dead pixel, it is having more trouble syncing, the max refresh rate is somewhere around 75Hz, and most importantly, the degauss button doesn’t work anymore!
I have been thinking about getting a Viewsonic VG800 18" LCD. It is still pretty pricy, so I won’t be buying it tomorrow or anything, but I think I am going to start saving for it.
My UPS just came in useful during that thunderstorm-induced-brownout! I think that might be the first time I have noticed it kick in… It wasn’t long enough for the alarm to sound or for Windows to notify me, but I heard it click on as the lights dimmed…
The racing was fantastic today… Tons of fun… I took a few pictures, but didn’t get any of the actual race as I was racing.. :)
Walked to work with Rory today, and we started talking about random shit and somehow we started talking about Dr. Hart at RIT… He was such a great professor…. I remember him going on some analogy involving a janitor, but I can’t remember what it is anymore…. Hopefully it will come back eventually… =)
I remembered to bring my head sock and a pair of jeans for our racing tonight… Should be alot of fun, although I somehow know that I will feel guilty about having fun and think about work the whole time… =)
