Welcome to the future, for this is my first journal entry posted from the bathroom at work.
I slept on and off all day yesterday, so it isn’t a surprise that I was wide awake at 6am this morning.. I tried to convince myself back to sleep but no luck… So I showered and took a leisurely walk to work and was at my desk by 8am… And even though I am very well rested I am still having trouble thinking straight… That might be the Advil though, that sometimes makes me spacey…
Need donuts
Just went through the mouth-cleaning ritual… Had some bleeding afterwards but I stopped it with a tea bag… Hopefully it will heal a bit more overnight… Found a good LJ friends style for viewing on the hiptop… My default style rendered but rendered weird because my of the order of my table layout… The entries came before the usernames and images and lots of stuff that I didn’t like, but this new style fixes the order…
I think I am going to go to bed.
I have noticed a disturbing trend lately… When watching a show on the tivo, it often takes a commercial or two before I realize that I need to start fast-forwarding…. So I need to correct this…
My regular email address is all straightened out, so feel free to return to your usual programming..
I need to lie down now…
I am posting this from my new hiptop!! I will let everyone know what I think after I play for awhile. Right now I am gonna lay down as my mouth is pretty sore and this thing needs to charge.
Heading over to the dentist, er, oral surgeon, now…. Wish me luck….

The topic of concerts came up in the office today, and later talk of concert films also arose. I quickly began extolling the virtues of the greatest concert film of all time, and Carlos replied with “Who are the Talking Heads, like I can’t remember anything by them, what songs would I recognize?”
I almost had a coronary.
