My main project here at work for the past week or two is finally starting to come together. That is a good feeling… :)

In another hour I am out of here!

I got in here at 7:30 this morning, to counteract the fact that I am leaving early to meet up with Amy, who is arriving from jersey today. If she gets here on time we will probably both head out to “Masters of Italian Horror” tonight..

I want to leave early today, I am just not focused… Maybe in an hour…

Most of the marketing people here at work moved out of the main chamber here, so it is pretty much just us techies here now. This is beneficial to both of us… The techies are loud when we are screwing around playing soccer around the office, and the marketing types are loud when they are on the phone trying to convince profs that we are good.

Say you’re thinking about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly someone says plate, or shrimp, or plate of shrimp. Out of the blue. No use looking for one either. It’s part of the lattice of coincidence that lays on top of everything.

…and sometimes you just hurt.

I went to Crap Rack, the hardware store, and Taco Bell with Adam over lunch break and got almost everything I needed… I forgot to pick up the 3M doohickeys, so I guess I will just take the C line home and stop by the Cleveland Circle hardware store on the way….

I need to patch up the accidental holes in my apartment walls (caused by trying to mount speakers w/o a stud finder), and finish mounting my speakers and running the wires tonight. To accomplish these goals I need some spackle, a putty knife, sand paper, wood screws, some more Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing speaker wire guides, and probably some butt connectors….

My boss lent me a stud finder, so I won’t be so much of a spank this time around… :P

I got my receiver today, which means I am pretty much wanting to bail out of here and bring it home to play with.. :) My boss is bringing in a Stud Finder tomorrow so I can mount the remaining speakers in my setup (as opposed to blindly poking more holes in my wall uneffectively). Tonight I will just have to deal with the fronts sitting on the floor while I play with them (but I will now be able to employ my subwoofer again, which is a Good Thing.

Mozilla just crashed for me for the first time in a week or so… And it was probably my fault… *eg*..

It is going to suck bringing this receiver home on the T…. Especially since there is a game today…

I got really, really depressed last night, and I am not quite sure what caused it. I can’t say that I have been completely happy during my time here in Boston, but things haven’t been as bad as I had been making them out to be last night.. I have no clue what caused it, and to those affected, well, you know…

It must have been Weezer withdrawal…
