Ok, I normally avoid going to the doctor unless I need to, but I guess I feel I need to… The past few days I have had a progressively worsening sore throat, and starting last night it transitioned from sore to really painful… It truly feels like there are open sores on the back of my throat, and since Adam had similar symptoms a week or two ago that caused him to go on antibiotics and develop an ear infection, I figured I would have the doctor check it out to nip anything nasty in the bud. So I have to go down to Brookline at 11:30a to see a doctor, which will be the first time I have done so since living here in Boston. Wish me luck!
“These are not easy days to serve in the pastoral role that is mine,” Law said during the special Mass dedicated to hope and healing.
Well, you know, Bernard, perhaps if you didn’t let your “pastoral” brethren get away with fucking little kids for so long it would be a bit easier… This guy is unbelievable.
There is video of a seminar given by TiVo co-founder Jim Barton at UC Berkeley that looks interesting… It is 90 minutes, so I will have to watch it when I get home tonight (or soon). If you are interested, head over here.
