Software Job Market

Based on the number of cold calls I’ve received in the past month, I suspect that the job market for programmers is getting even stronger… Even stranger, out of nowhere I have had 2 people contact me about two different Mozilla/Firefox/xulrunner jobs within 24 hours… I haven’t really done any Mozilla programming since being laid off at Rovia, so IMHO I am not terribly qualified anymore, but it’s still rather interesting. I’m very happy at my current position, but just for marketability perhaps it is time to dust off some of my Mozilla knowledge… Even though I don’t plan on using it in the job market, I would like to contribute back to the project anyway…
