Writing to the top sometimes works!

I wrote anonymously to the CEO of Snowbound a few weeks ago, and apparently my voice was heard:
Our space is typically very quiet, and sometimes that’s a problem - because even little sounds travel. Many of our people need quiet to concentrate on their work but we are getting bigger and more crowded and that will continue for quite a while.
Some noise shouldn’t be curtailed - for example people eating at lunch or company functions. However there are things we can all do to be more considerate of others:
- Please don’t use the speakerphone unless your door is shut. If you don’t have a door, please don’t use the speakerphone.
- If you’re calling someone sitting in a cubicle, you can avoid going over speakerphone by keying a “1” after the extension number. If you forget to do that, please have the other party pick up the handset as quickly as possible. If you’re on the receiving end of such a call, just pick it up.
- If you want to disable the automatic speakerphone feature on your phone, Terry can do so for you.
- If you often talk for long periods of time, we can get a phone headset for you or an attachment to make it easier to cradle the handset.
- If you’re talking to a customer, except on a conference call, use the handset or headset.
