2004 in Movies (so far)

We’re a little over halfway through 2004 so I figured I would give a
State of the Viewing address to my readership and let them know what films I
have seen so far this year. I think I am behind last
year
in volume, but hell, I was unemployed the whole year, so I had
nothing better to do. :) (Update: Actually, looking at the count, I am slightly ahead of last year).

Unlike last year, I have been keeping track of films as I watch them, as
opposed to recalling them from memory. Even so, there may be a film or two

  1. Wow, that brings back memories. btw, I don’t think it’s fair of you to count movies that were on in the background, that I watched while you were on the ‘puter. :)

        1. Pfft. I was on the computer a bit, but I was on the couch for most of that movie. The only reason I was on the computer was because it sucked so badly…

  2. My two favorite ‘big screen’ films, that you saw, are: The Battle of Algier and The Saddest Music in the World. Both excellent, excellent movies.

    1. I really liked them too, althoguh I try to stay away from labels like “favorite” because my tastes are so fluid… and I saw “Saddest Music” for free as a preview screening here in Boston, I really liked it…

  3. Noi Albinoi
    Saved!

I can’t believe you saw saved!. did you like it? i have a bit of a crush on Jenna Malone. what about noi albinoi, i was going to catch that in the theatre but missed it.

    1. I liked Saved!, but it was a little too cheery for me… It was a fun summer movie though… And Jena Malone is dope.

Noi was really, really depressing… But it was good.
