We’re a little over halfway through 2004 so I figured I would give a
State of the Viewing address to my readership and let them know what films I
have seen so far this year. I think I am behind last
year in volume, but hell, I was unemployed the whole year, so I had
nothing better to do. :) (Update: Actually, looking at the count, I am slightly ahead of last year).
Unlike last year, I have been keeping track of films as I watch them, as
opposed to recalling them from memory. Even so, there may be a film or two

you catch one I missed, let me know.

Wow, that brings back memories. btw, I don’t think it’s fair of you to count movies that were on in the background, that I watched while you were on the ‘puter. :)
Like?
The Missing.
He wasn’t “missing” much if that’s what you mean.
You have been hanging around with Shane way too much. Stop coming up with bad jokes.
I’ve been hanging around Shane too much if my post looked like:
“He wsan’t “misong” much fi thats wha yuo mean.”
Pfft. I was on the computer a bit, but I was on the couch for most of that movie. The only reason I was on the computer was because it sucked so badly…
My two favorite ‘big screen’ films, that you saw, are: The Battle of Algier and The Saddest Music in the World. Both excellent, excellent movies.
I really liked them too, althoguh I try to stay away from labels like “favorite” because my tastes are so fluid… and I saw “Saddest Music” for free as a preview screening here in Boston, I really liked it…
You’ve only got me beat by 5 or 6, but there are a couple I’ve seen twice (Kill Bill 2 and Boondock Saints come to mind)
Noi Albinoi
Saved!
I can’t believe you saw saved!. did you like it? i have a bit of a crush on Jenna Malone. what about noi albinoi, i was going to catch that in the theatre but missed it.
I liked Saved!, but it was a little too cheery for me… It was a fun summer movie though… And Jena Malone is dope.
Noi was really, really depressing… But it was good.
