This weekend was pretty laid back… Saw Minority Report last night with Rory and Laura… It was no Blade Runner (Directors Cut, that is..), but it wasn’t half bad.. I was really surprised how packed the theater was given how long the movies been out now… We walked to the theater (Fenway) and were running a little late, we showed up during the trailers and had to sit in the front, which sucked…
Walked over to the other side (a.k.a. Boston) and went to a few places trying to find new skis but struck out… I will probably have to wait until September before I can execute that purchase… The “leftover pickins” from last season are pretty slim…
I have spent way too much money on CDs and DVDs in the past few days… I bought Amélie and we all watched that Friday night… I love that movie, it simply makes me happy.. =)

It’s a hike, but honestly, the best place to get skis in MA is in Worcester. There’s this little place called Strands, it’s on West Boylston St (take exit 1 on I-190). People come from all over the country to get their ski stuff. They know their shit and they have decent prices.
Yeah, it’s an hour each way, but it’s totally worth it.
