Just got back from the rellies a few minutes ago…. It wasn’t a bad time at all, but my back really started hurting sitting on the couch at our last stop… Fortunately, just as it started to get really bad, we needed to leave, so we coudl go home to drain our dog.

I just got back from visiting the relatives on Christmas Eve. I had a pleasant time.

My back (you know, the part of your body behind your chest) started hurting due to prolonged exposure to an uncomfortable couch.
Fortunately, just as it started to get really bad, we needed to leave, so we coudl go home to drain our dog.
Besides the obvious typo, I think this is self-explanatory. Most creatures on this planet need to evacuate waste products from their body, and our dog is no exception. Fortunately, for us, we have trained her not to piss on the carpet. Unfortunately, this means that unless we get a dog-sitter, our radius from home is compromised.
