So I didn’t make it to the second round of qualifications for Jeopardy. The test was 50 questions, and I was pretty confident about the ones I answered, but there were about 7 that I simply didn’t even know enough to make an educated guess about. They don’t tell you your score, but you needed 35 to move on, and out of 150ish people only 4 or 5 got to move on. But I got a Jeopardy pen, and I will be back next year.. :P

I play poker with a guy who won Ben Stein’s money, and even he didn’t make the Jeopardy cut a few months back.
Yeah, it didn’t surprise me how few people made it thru….
How much of the WSOP did you end up watching?
We were only there through Monday night, so we saw the beginning and end of the first day. Our friend busted out halfway through the second day, and that was that. It was awesome, though, because everyone who’s anyone in poker was there: Amarillo Slim, T.J. Cloutier, Scotty Nguyen, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson, and lots of other people my friend pointed out walking around.
